Samhain Deep Rest Session

Samhain marks the mid-point between Autumn and Winter. It is the traditional season of Halloween and the ending of Harvest.
The air and ether elements arrive, shifting from the earthly element of spring —> summer —> Autumn and has been seen as a time when the veil between worlds is thinner making it a natural point to connect to our ancestors and those who have passed..
As we acknowledge the turning of the wheel of nature we start the slowing down. It’s the beginning of the shift from production to hibernation.
The traditional date of Samhain in the southern hemisphere is May 1, however the actual date taking into account the procession of the equinox has shifted to May 5.
Over this weekend (and how interesting it falls on the ‘Labour Day’ public holiday) we invite you to start to recognise the slowing down. Which might be difficult if you’ve been in an overdrive-production.
We’ve prepared a very special 90 minute 13 Moons Deep Rest (Restorative Yoga) session to help you to remember how to let go of the doing, deeply rest, and start the slowing down that nature is inviting you to do.
You can do this with our Samhain Ritual Connecting with Ancestors for a beautiful personal retreat.
Sending so much love
Leila & Sam xx
