80hr Womens Kundalini Yoga (Restorative) Training
CONSCIOUS DEEP REST FOR NERVOUS SYSTEM SUPPORT & HEALING TRAUMA IN THE BODY
The body takes somewhere from 6 - 11 hours of sleep each night and yet does not 'heal itself' of the stress and trauma it endures from modern life. Restorative yoga is considered the true antidote to stress because it allows you to relax deeply with awareness. Relaxing with awareness is the key to bringing the mind-body into a state of balance or homeostasis, similar to the effect of meditation.
Stress related illnesses (Anxiety, adrenal fatigue, depression & cold depression, panic attacks) can all be positively supported and elevated with Restorative Yoga.
We are seeing more frequently that westernised yoga classes or meditation are not supporting peoples nervous systems who are living constantly in fight or flight, where stress has evolved into anxiety or just sheer tiredness and exhaustion has set in. To support them through exhaustion and nervous system recovery we must offer the opportunity to consciously rest and unwind the stress before attempting to sit in meditation or return to strength building practices.
For Yoga Teachers to Specialise in Restorative Care
This training focuses on providing you with the knowledge necessary to immediately begin to hold Restorative Yoga Circles and also confidently offer 1:1 sessions to clients. You will learn the art of optimum prop use, restorative postures, simple relaxing massage techniques and most importantly how to compassionately hold someone in this space through deep listening.
Trauma informed teaching
You will be introduced to the practice, concepts and teaching of Restorative Yoga from the perspective of trauma-informed awareness as a teacher or practitioner of yoga.
Program - Day One
Experience a half day restorative retreat for yourself and receive beneficial deep rest and healing.
Learn Restorative Yoga postures with props and techniques for conscious deep rest and recovery
Program - Day Two
Learn massage techniques to work 1:1 with clients and students
Circle facilitation to hold a Restorative Yoga class for women
As a 13 Moons graduate you are invited to participate in our Business Mentoring program to support yoga teachers and wellness practitioners.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OR PERSONAL CARE
This training can be attended for your own personal care and is available for professional development to existing Yoga teachers (from any discipline) and current students on the 13 Moons Healers & 350hr Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training.
Qualifications as a Kundalini Restorative Yoga Teacher
This course qualifies for ongoing professional development with Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia with 80 CPD Points. This course will also qualify you as an Associate Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance International if you are not already a qualified yoga teacher, and working towards becoming a 350hr Womens Kundalini Yoga Teacher with us.
Prerequisite for Certification
You must already be a qualified yoga teacher or studying to graduate as a
350hr Kundalini Yoga & Meditation teacher with us..
2 DAY IN PERSON TRAINING
For those who can attend in person you will experience a beautiful country escape to unwind from the city in the clean air and sounds of nature.
Unable to attend in person? This training is also delivered in real time online AEST. You can zoom in from anywhere in the world and recordings are available for any moments you miss.

ONLINE LEARNING PORTAL
All course manuals, resources, recommended readings, retreat recordings and business mentoring recordings will be stored in your own learning portal for unlimited access.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ONLINE STUDENTS
This is a dynamic and interactive online delivery model.
Online classes will be delivered via Zoom and recordings will be available for one month after the class. To receive your certifications we ask that you attend most of the classes in real time with us.
You will have direct contact with Sam & Leila during the training days and you will be allocated online groups during trainings for healings and any group or pair work with other women.

Calls are hosted 8 - 9pm AEST on Zoom over the following dates. These business calls are participated by members of all of our 13 Moons trainings and are wonderful professional networking opportunities.

There are a number of mountain retreat stay houses and country cottages within 10 - 20 minute drive from our studio. We have suggested a few here for you to explore and book.
