AQUARIAN ASTROLOGY // REAL SKY ASTROLOGY
The January Full Moon occurs right on the star Pollux and in conjunction with Mars. Aside from the massive light the full moon is projecting and the disturbing sleep you might have experienced, there is some awesome mythology to consider.
Pollux and Castor were the twin sons of Leda, Pollux the divine (immortal) son of Zeus and Castor the mortal son of Tyndarues the King of Sparta. They are brothers to the twin sisters Helen of Troy and Clytemnestra. The twins are regarded as the gods of sailing and horsemanship. In death, Castor was killed in battle and Pollux was heartbroken without his brother. As he was immortal he begged his father to give half of his immortality to Castor. Zeus granted the request and the twins were turned into the constellation known as Gemini.
We have an activation of this star and this story with the full moon and Mars right over it. What does it feel like it means for you? Mars can be known as the planet of courage, passion, competition.. these are all good qualities when utilised positively. Alternatively there can be a sparking or lighting up of the God of War and the entitlement and righteousness we might feel towards certain topics or subjects relating to our community, brothers, sisters or collective conscious.
Full moons are fabulous times to charge up crystals, and this one particularly for your red crystals that support you with courage, passion and spirit of action.
Many full moon blessings!
