Kundalini Frog Pose: A Dynamic Energy Booster
Frog Pose in Kundalini Yoga is a powerful exercise designed to strengthen the legs, energise the lower chakras, and activate the flow of Kundalini energy. This pose improves flexibility, increases circulation, and balances energy, making it an essential part of many Kundalini Yoga practices.
Instructions for Kundalini Frog Pose:
Starting Position:
Begin in a squatting position on the balls of your feet with your heels lifted and your knees spread wide.
Place your fingertips on the ground in front of you for support, keeping your back straight and your chest open.
Movement:
On an inhale, straighten your legs while keeping your fingertips on the floor. Your head comes down toward your knees, and your heels remain off the ground.
On an exhale, return to the squatting position, keeping your chest lifted and your gaze forward.
Breath Coordination:
Inhale deeply as you straighten your legs.
Exhale fully as you return to the squat.
Maintain a smooth, rhythmic flow between the movements and the breath.
Repetitions:
Begin with 12–26 repetitions, gradually increasing as your strength and endurance improve.
Ending:
After completing the repetitions, remain in a squatting position for a moment.
Take a few deep breaths to let the energy settle.
Slowly rise to a standing position when ready.
