Friday the 13th
This day arrives just days after the Full Moon in Ophiuchus —the 13th sign, long hidden from mainstream astrology.
Just like the sacred feminine.
Ophiuchus is the serpent bearer
A symbol of healing, alchemy, feminine wisdom, and the mysteries of life, death, and rebirth.
She is the forgotten priestess.
The medicine woman.
The keeper of ancient truths.
13 moons in a year.13
cycles in the womb.
13th sign in the sky.
Friday the 13th — the day of Freya, the Goddess.
This is no coincidence.
This is a portal.
A moment to remember what has been hidden.
To reclaim your wildness, your knowing, your rhythm.
To honour your body, your cycles, your sacred rage, your quiet power.
Let this Friday the 13th be a return —to the divine feminine in you.
Unashamed. Untamed. Undeniable.

The True Meaning of Friday the 13th: A Day of Feminine Power
Long before it was cloaked in superstition and fear, Friday the 13th was a sacred day rooted in the divine feminine.
Friday is named after Frigg (or Freya), the Norse goddess of love, beauty, fertility, and intuition, a powerful feminine archetype.
The number 13 is equally potent: it aligns with the number of lunar cycles in a year and the average number of menstrual cycles a woman experiences annually.
In ancient times, both the moon and the number 13 were considered sacred to the Goddess and linked to feminine mysteries, creation, and intuition.
Together, Friday the 13th was once celebrated as a day to honour the Goddess, a time for ritual, rest, reflection, and reverence for feminine wisdom. It symbolised a portal to deeper knowing, connection to nature, and the cycles of life.
It was only later, through patriarchal systems that sought to suppress feminine power and cyclical knowledge, that Friday the 13th was reframed as unlucky.
But the truth remains.
Friday the 13th is not a day of fear, but of remembrance — a reclamation of the sacred feminine in all her mystery, power, and grace.

Friday the 13th Ritual: Reclaiming the Sacred Feminine
What you’ll need:
A candle (white, red, or silver)
A bowl of water (symbol of the womb + intuition)
Fresh flowers or herbs (rose, mugwort, lavender)
Journal + pen
Optional: crystals like moonstone, rose quartz, or selenite
1. Create Sacred Space
Turn off distractions. Light your candle. Place the bowl of water before you with the flowers/herbs gently resting in it. Let this space feel soft, safe, and reverent.
2. Ground + Breathe
Close your eyes. Place one hand on your heart, the other on your womb or belly. Breathe deeply for a few minutes. Imagine yourself connected to the moon above and the Earth below.
3. Speak Aloud or Whisper:
"I honour the women who came before me.
I honour the sacred cycles within me.
I honour the wisdom I hold in my bones.
I remember who I am."
4. Reflect + Journal:
Use any of these prompts to connect with your inner knowing:
What part of my feminine power wants to awaken today?
What do I need to release to honour my truth?
How can I deepen my trust in my body, my intuition, and my voice?
5. Water Blessing
Gently stir the water with your fingers. As you do, speak or think of something you’re ready to release and something you’re ready to call in.
Imagine the water holding your intentions.
6. Close the Ritual
Blow out the candle with gratitude.
Offer the water to the Earth — pour it onto the soil or a beloved plant.
Let the flowers return to nature.
This is a moment to remember.
To feel your cyclical nature as sacred.
To reclaim the power in your softness, your knowing, your body, and your story.
And so it is.
And so it is.
And so it is.
